The Chamber Bucks program is an economic development program that encourages consumers to shop locally which strengthens our economy and supports business growth. Consumers use them as gift certificates at participating Chamber Member locations and those Chamber Members are reimbursed by the Chamber.
These Bucks make a great gift for any occasion, employee incentive reward, or prize for any competition. Chamber Bucks are available in denominations of $10, $20, $30, and $50 printed and stamped with our corporate seal to prevent counterfeiting. Chamber Bucks are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
HOW CHAMBER BUCKS WORK FOR BUSINESSES
- There is no cost to your business to participate.
- The Bucks can be used by consumers just like cash for merchandise, products, and services at any participating Iola Area Chamber member business.
- NO change is to be given to the person redeeming the Bucks' If they do not spend the full amount, they lose the remainder of the value therefore the full amount must be used at 1 participating location.
- All lines of the certificate should be completed, especially the PAYABLE TO. This is where the business name accepting the Bucks should be listed.
- When merchants are accepting Chamber Bucks, be sure the authorized signature is on the bottom right AND the embossed Chamber of Commerce seal is present.
- For the merchant who has accepted the Chamber Bucks - they are to be redeemed by emailing or call the Chamber office to let us know when you have them and how much they're for. A check will be issued for the full amount of the Bucks'
HOW CHAMBER BUCKS WORK FOR CONSUMERS
- The Bucks can be used by consumers just like cash for merchandise, products, and services at any participating Iola Area Chamber member business.
- At the top of your Chamber Bucks sheet is a list of the logos for all locations who accept Chamber Bucks
- You must spend the full amount at 1 participating location and NO change is to be given if the full amount is not utilized meaning you will lose the remainder of the value if the full amount is not used.
- Before using your Chamber Bucks, be sure the authorized signature is on the bottom right AND the embossed Chamber of Commerce seal is present.
